"Scaredy Cat" is a million times funnier, lot's of funny drawings, gags, and far better timing.Ricardo Cantoralhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00518171797365794688noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5052525513598295339.post-45510106018108128552007-07-22T09:19:00.000-07:002007-07-22T09:19:00.000-07:00Well, I've never listened to his R&S commentaries ...Well, I've never listened to his R&S commentaries before, let alone actually own any of his R&S DVDs. But what I was getting at is he's said on his blog that he hates those sort of designs, but he himself still uses them! I just think it's pure hypocrasy.

BTW, great commentary Matthew! Listen to his commentaries on the R&S Season 3 DVD or read his blog.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5052525513598295339.post-64360248760954290292007-07-21T17:55:00.000-07:002007-07-21T17:55:00.000-07:00The thing that gets me about John K's commentary i...The thing that gets me about John K's commentary is he says how Chuck Jones was "one of the fathers of limited animation", and how Chuck hated it, and John K doesn't understand that. The thing John doesn't realize is he's "one of the fathers" of the infamous flat Genndy Tartokofsky (sp?) style that's been in cartoons the past decade. John hates this style, but he started it! Genndy has even said his style is inspired by John K!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5052525513598295339.post-79768557167164314112007-07-20T12:41:00.000-07:002007-07-20T12:41:00.000-07:00So, is it cool-looking?This is an excellent commen...So, is it cool-looking?

This is an excellent commentary. In fact, I think I'll hereby altogether reject the John K./Eddie Fitzgerald commentary on LTGC3 and substitute this as the official one in my mind. It's far more deserving of it, anyway.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5052525513598295339.post-87591572475856226342007-07-19T23:17:00.000-07:002007-07-19T23:17:00.000-07:00I don't understand what John K. thinks is so bad w...I don't understand what John K. thinks is so bad with this cartoon. I think it's pretty good, if not totallly funny.

Sylvester's expressions & poses throughout this cartoon are priceless. It's stylized, but it's a good kind of stylized.Michael J.
