One of Bob Clampett's lesser-known Porky Pig classics barely involved Porky at all...But here's my take on it, and why I think it deserves more attention!

I felt the same way about it...the way the mother is tortured psychologically is so cruel! I think I laugh more out of disbelief than anything else. The part where the mother whimpers the song and the mouse sings it back to her with its tongue out is one of the pinnacles of Clampett craziness. I loved seeing it again, thanks!
PS: At the time I saw this cartoon I worked with Bob's daughter Ruth. I told her how bizarre and hilarious it was, and as I recall she just shrugged and basically said, "well, that was Dad."
