I have this on video somewhere in my seemingly endless 2001-2004 archive of syndicated "Simpsons" reruns. I find it odd that all the cartoon sound effects used in this spot are from the Hanna-Barbera library, not Warner Bros.
Funny - they struck advertising deals with Sprint, Wendy's, and Aflac, and still nobody went to see this movie. Just bad timing, I guess (with its release date sandwiched between Elf and The Cat in the Hat, it never had a chance).
On the official website, this commercial played before the theatrical trailer. I remember first seeing this (on TV) and thinking "great! The movie is going to be filled with fun and slapstick like this." How wrong I was.

Seeing Daffy putting up a flag to urge people to watch LT:BIA In Theaters November 14th...priceless.
I remember this commercial. There was also a Wendy's commercial and an Aflec commercial that promoted Back in Action.

No wonder it failed.
