Chuck Jones animation in "Stay Tuned"(1992)

I stumbled upon this clip on Youtube and thought it was interesting. A Chuck Jones animated work I'd never heard of, from a movie I'd never heard of! In "Stay Tuned" (1992), The late John Ritter and TV actress Pam Dawber play a quarreling couple who find themselves sucked into their TV, where they are forced to "star in" and survive a bunch of shows created by the Devil. They find themselves (as mice)in a Looney Tunes-like cartoon directed by Chuck Jones, with music by Bruce Broughton ("Tiny Toons"). Keep an eye on the envelope the Ritter mouse sends to the Acme Corporation...you'll see Jones' face on the stamp!

By the way, by our count, this is Misce-Looney-Ous blog post #100!

Oh man, that was hillarious. Chuck still had a few more tricks up his sleeves.

Intreasting thing is that John's father, Tex Ritter, "the last of the singing cowboys", narrated the Tex Avery cartoon, "The First Bad Man" back in 1955.

I remember seeing this movie but I didn't realize at the time that it was Chuck's work.
I think I heard a slight variation of "Powerhouse" there for a few seconds.

Love this segment!
Chuck does the greatest mice designs. Robocat is a great character.
Has anyone seen the completed 4 min "Pudgy Parrot" cartoon from Mrs. Doubtfire? Apparently, there was going to be a cartoon opening the picture with Robin Williams performing the voices. However in the final film, it was trimmed down.
It is available on the DVD, I only rented it before and I haven't seen it for sale anywhere.
