Enough about bad Bugs Bunny cartoons. Let's take a look at a GREAT Sylvester and Tweety comic book story. This longer-than-usual DC story from Issue # 53 (June 1999) is written by Sean Carolan and Jennifer Moore, with wonderful artwork by David Alvarez. It's too bad they're not making them like this anymore!

oh man! That was indeed a great comic! I loved the part where Sylvester was calling Emeril and when Steve says "Thanks for saving my butt." *watching Sylvester eat his own* Chester:"Although I'm sure it would have been tastier than his."
Sylvester singing at the end was just funny!
Sigh-they really don't make em like this anymore!
I like the cameos in the first panel on page 9.
Wow Nic, I must not have been looking closely enough...but yeah! I can spot, Hubie, Bertie, Pinky, and it sure looks like the ears of a certain Disney rodent!
what a great piece of comic!
this will be very useful for me since I'm developing my drawing skills!
Please, can you post other comics??? thank you
I've just visited the DC comics website looking for the next issue of the looney tunes comics (the one with Road runner and Speedy Gonzales in the comic remake of the Wild Chase) but I can't find them!!! well, they are not shown as usual in the website!help!!!
Looney Tunes are still showing up on this page - http://www.dccomics.com/dckids/?action=comics, but I DID have to search for them.
Your right. Its too bad that were not going see more of these comics anymore. Oh well, at least you can check out Alvarez's deviantART site at http://davealvarez.deviantart.com/
David Alvarez was really saving the Looney Tunes comic during this time. DC finally had an artist that could capture the "simplistic-wackiness" of the character designs.
Plus the writers were really on their game mixing characters up with simple, funny stories.
