Yosemite Sam and the Gold River Adventure

This is pretty neat. Someone has posted a video of the "Yosemite Sam and the Gold River Adventure" dark ride at Six Flags Over Texas. The ride, which opened in 1992, features audio animatronic versions of the LT gang in a western-themed plotline. Look for Bugs, Elmer, Daffy, the Road Runner and Coyote, Porky, Speedy and others to pop up. It's almost like being there.

Hey, good to know that old classic is still there! I've always loved it. I haven't been to Six Flags in years, but that's the original park in Arlington, Texas, outside of Fort Worth where I grew up. If you've never been in North Texas in the summer, you have no idea how horrible the heat can be. That ride was great because it was nice and COOL in there, and the explosions from Wile E.'s dynamite and one of the gunfight bits would spray a mist of cool water. Can't tell if that's still the case or not...still, good to see it's still there.
