Wow...there's a trip down memory lane. And it's so weird how I was thinking about this same piece of animation...only the weird thing was I didn't remember watching them at the Oscars!
A long time ago, here in the UK, I remember seeing a clip featuring these two during something called the "CITV (Children's Independent Television) Awards" where they nominated the best children's shows of that year - 1990's, I think. All this time, however, I had no idea that the original dialogue was redubbed for us!
Small wonder, eh? But it's great to see the original clip after so long :)
Wow... Burson's Bugs is "off". This must have been the first time he voiced the character, or one of the first times. He got better with "Carrotblanca".
That was interesting! though,I suppose that if the Academy really really wanted to, they could have Bugs and Daffy host the entire academy Awards ceremony. It would be great if any of our favorite cartoon characters could host any kind of an awards show. But that could never happen... Could it?
