Remember when Looney Tunes (and most other classic cartoons for that matter) were on lots of different TV channels, and shown frequently? Yeah, we do too. Here is a rare 1990 promo for Nickelodeon's long-running Looney Tunes show. Also included in this clip is an ad for "Heathcliff", with a hilarious interjection by Sylvester.

That just about blew my mind. I remember that like it was 5 minutes ago. Thank god someone had that on tape. I use to go around singing that "psycho for when your mind goes, for when you've had enough, of doing grown up stuff" and nobody knew what the hell I was singing.
I thought there was another line after that though that said "for when your looney parnets, give you the inheritance" Maybe that was a different version or something.
anyway, thanks.
Nick's ads for their Looney Tunes show actually showed some understanding of the cartoons' spirit. Much cleverer than CN's later campaigns (what little one saw of them... CN was visibly more interested in building its own properties up).
Of course, Nick wasn't all wine and roses... there WAS that later ad smugly announcing Bosko's departure from the rotation. ("Sorry, Bosko.")
That was back when Nickelodeon didn't totally keep pushing out horrible cartoon shows.
Oh my goodness, what an amazing find.. I'm sitting here at work and this song randomly popped into my head. I remembereed the words so clearly. I went on working and it was just stuck in my head, so I decided to google it and was UTTERLY SHOCKED to find it. Awesome, awesome find, you made my day!
100% ditto on John Mazz's comment. I'm absolutely astounded to have found this.
Same here! I've been singing that song in my head for gosh, over TEN YEARS. Thanks so much for sharing it!!
Another thank you! I didn't think it would be this easy to find something like this. I have started singing this song at random times throughout the years and have gotten so wierd looks!
I was trying to figure out the name of this classical song.... all i had to do was google "psycho or when your mind goes or if you had enough of doing grown up stuff" to find what i was looking for. this is AWESOME.
now, does anyone know the name of this song?
This is an awesome find. The classical music is Allegro from Eine Klein Nachtmusik (though shortened, of course).
